An Eartship in Rotterdam! Wouldn’t that be nice?
Organized in the  Rotterdam Earthship Foundation, we wish to build an Earthship in the Rotterdam harbour. With a lot of volunteers and experts, we hope to complete the Earthship in the summer of 2016.

We wish to build the Simple Survival Model developed by Michael Reynolds. This Earthship model is relatively simple to build, while incorporating all the off-grid principles. We will adapt it to specific Dutch circumstances, like the climate. For more information on the Simple Survival Model design visit: Earthship.com

Our Earthship will be a showcase project and an experiment, through which we hope all participants learn a lot about the construction process and the sustainability principles. This design is coproduced by Whim Architecture.
