The lombok Project is a community-based development. HKB Stedenbouwkundigen worked in a close cooperation with residents to provide a mutual vision on changing the present traffic junction into a new heart for the lombok District. We have aimed to change a traffic space into a meaningful place by bringing the necessary traffic links underground and adding a public square with retail and cultural programme.
